Introduction:
The
Amrita University conducts an entrance exam for the students who wish
to get admission in the Amrita University. This entrance examination
is called as the Amrita University Engineering Entrance Examination
(AEEE). It offers a number of graduation and post-graduation courses
in the field of engineering and Technology.
The
AEE application form is now made available by the Amrita University
from the 1st of December, 2016. The candidates can apply
online or offline for the AEE 2017 examination.
Following
are some brief guidelines for filling the application form for AEEE
2017:
The
candidates can fill the AEEE 2017 application form online as well as
offline.
In
case of the online application form, the candidates must visit the
site of the university and then fill all the fields mentioned in the
form and submit it then and there itself. The candidates can make the
payment of the application form by the way the university has
prescribed.
In
the offline mode, the candidates must collect the application forms
from the said centres and fill it on paper. They can submit these
filled forms along with the application fees.
The
candidates who fulfil the eligibility criterion, only those will be
allowed to apply for AEEE 2017. Following are some important notes
regarding the eligibility criterion:
The
eligibility Criterion for AEEE set by the Exam conducting Authority
of Amrita University:
- The candidate must be born on or after 1st July 1996.
- The student must have qualified the SSC and the HSC Board examinations.
- In case of HSC examination, the candidate must have secured at least 60 percent individually in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects and at least 55 percent in totality.
- For students who hold the Diploma degree in the field of Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education can apply for the examination if they have achieved at least 60 percent marks in the Diploma degree.
